Lives and works in Glasgow.

I’m interested in the collective human curiosity of the unknown and spectral phenomena.

My work forms a conversation around the parallels of abstraction and figuration, where the figures emerge from the canvas through intuitive mark making, but not necessarily at first glance. Although the figure is a primary focus, I also aim to create a spiritual dynamic between these apparitions across different canvases.

I work through narratives inspired by ghost stories and translate this through colour, figuration and titling of work. My paintings respond to this fascination, delving into the intricacies of our superstitions and confronting the realisation of what may be haunting us.
